Michelle Allen
Coaching, mentoring and leadership support for creative business owners, writers and artists
I’m Michelle Allen a neurodivergent multiple business owner, coach and writer.
I’ve worked in the creative industry for over fifteen years and was the Assistant Producer for Curated Acts at Reading Fringe Festival in addition to producing and writing independently as one half of Cast Iron Theatre.
After script reading for the BBC Writers Room and Theatre 503, I gained an MA Screenwriting at the Nation Film and Television School (NFTS) and was the winner of the NBC Universal & SyFy Channel's Original TV Pitch Competition for my series Mimicry, which was developed to treatment stage with mentoring from Carnival Films.
My plays have been staged in London, the US and Brighton.
In 2021 I was selected to attend the Curtis Brown Breakthrough Novel Writing programme for my manuscript, Otherlings, which will be released in Autumn 2024 as part of my new publishing company!
As a coach and consultant I work with creative business owners, artists and writers around creating their work, funding and marketing visibility. I am the host of the Resting Biz Face podcast which offers actionable advice, mindset skills and strategy techniques for people who want to shift away from the old, hustle and corporate way of doing business, into a life full of inspiration, creation and rest (something which is very important for all people, and especially so for those of us who are neurodivergent).
I’d love to stay in touch with you - so do make sure you sign up to get my latest newsletter, have a listen to the Resting Biz Face podcast and drop me a line!
